The symptoms of product chaos are easy to spot — if you know where to look.

Sales is Running Your Roadmap

Every deal adds scope. Engineering can't finish anything. Your product is becoming a custom services business in disguise.

🔍

Customers Aren't Using What You Built

You shipped features nobody adopted. Usage is flat. You're building more but gaining less.

📈

Your Messaging Doesn't Match Your Market

Marketing says one thing, the product does another. Prospects are confused. Pipeline is stalling.

👥

No Product Leadership — Or the Wrong Kind

You either don't have a product leader, or the one you have isn't operating at the level your growth demands.

Linda Simovic

Why I Started Landmark Product

I've spent my career inside the product function — building, leading, and scaling products in industries where getting it wrong isn't an option. Healthcare. Finance. Regulated environments where compliance isn't a checkbox, it's the entire foundation.

I started Landmark Product because I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant companies with real products and real customers — stuck. Not because they lacked talent, but because they lacked the product leadership to channel that talent into focused, scalable growth.

Sales was running the roadmap. Engineering was context-switching between too many priorities. Customers were frustrated. And the product team — if one existed — didn't have the frameworks or the authority to change the trajectory.

I fix that. Not by showing up with a binder of best practices, but by embedding myself in your reality — your customers, your team dynamics, your market pressure — and building the product leadership function your company actually needs.

And when every company is asking "what do we do with AI?" — I've already answered that question. I launched Microsoft's first AI Copilot for business applications, leading enterprise adoption strategy from day one. At People.ai, I built the product and pricing model for SalesAI — designing consumption-based tiers before the market had a playbook for it. I don't theorize about AI product strategy. I've shipped it at scale.

My clients end our work together feeling like they knew what they were doing all along. That's the transformation. That's product confidence.

Let's Talk About Your Product

Three Ways to Bring Landmark Product Into Your Company

Every engagement starts with a diagnosis — not a prescription. I figure out what's actually broken before recommending how to fix it.

01

Interim CPO

When you need product leadership now

No product leader? I step in immediately — establishing the roadmap, structuring the team, and defining hiring criteria so we find your permanent leader while keeping momentum.

  • Roadmap established and governed
  • Team structured with clear roles
  • Successor identified and onboarded
03

Product Leadership Coaching

When your leader needs to level up

Your product leader exists but needs development. Or a strong IC is stepping into their first leadership role. I coach them to full capability with clear milestones.

  • Leadership capability developed
  • Frameworks and tools transferred
  • Independence — not dependency

Battle-Tested Frameworks. Not Generic Advice.

I don't show up with a one-size-fits-all playbook. I bring proprietary frameworks built from years of doing this work in the hardest environments — and I adapt them to your reality.

🎯

Roadmap That Actually Works

A structured allocation methodology that balances innovation, customer needs, and engineering investment — so no single force dominates your product direction.

🛑

Product Boundaries That Stick

Clear, non-negotiable lines that define what your product is — and what it will never be. Gives your team the language and authority to say no without destroying relationships.

🤝

Sales-Product Partnership

A five-point engagement model that transforms the Sales-Product relationship from adversarial to collaborative — giving sales more access, not more control.

💬

The Art of Saying No

A Socratic pushback methodology — the most powerful product skill nobody teaches. Your team learns to decline requests in a way that strengthens relationships.

🎭

Deep Customer Inhabitation

I don't just study your customers — I inhabit their world. Every interaction is prepared with telemetry, context, and genuine curiosity. Your roadmap already exists inside their frustrations.

📊

What Good Looks Like

Clear capability benchmarks so your team knows what they're aiming for — across roadmap process, team structure, stakeholder alignment, and product metrics.

🤖

AI Product Strategy

Everyone's asking "what do we do with AI?" I've already answered it — launching Microsoft's first AI Copilot and building AI pricing models before the market had a playbook. I help you navigate AI strategy with experience, not experiments.

These frameworks come to life in conversation. Every engagement starts with understanding your specific situation.

I Run Toward the Industries Others Run From

Most product leaders avoid regulated industries because of the complexity. I specialize in them because compliance-aware product development is a genuine competitive moat.

Healthcare & Life Sciences

Deep expertise in GxP-regulated environments — pharma, biotech, medical device. I understand validation requirements (IQ/OQ/PQ), 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, and how to build pre-validation documentation that turns your product from "interesting" to "viable to evaluate."

  • GxP validation & pre-validation strategy
  • Audit trail architecture
  • FDA regulatory alignment
  • Compliance as competitive advantage
🏦

Finance & FinTech

Enterprise financial institutions won't evaluate products that can't demonstrate regulatory alignment. I build product strategies where compliance is a buying criterion, not just risk management — turning regulatory requirements into market positioning.

  • PII protection & data residency
  • SOC 2 Type II readiness
  • Purpose-built positioning vs. generic platforms
  • Compliance as deal-maker, not deal-blocker

Every Engagement Starts With a Diagnosis

I don't prescribe until I understand. These are the four transformation types I see most — and most companies need a combination.

01

Messaging & Positioning

Your product marketing doesn't match your market reality. Pipeline is stalling because prospects don't understand what you actually do.

Outcome: Increased pipeline & engagement
02

GTM Product Adjustment

Your go-to-market is disconnected from your product capability. Sales is promising things the product can't deliver.

Outcome: Aligned sales & product motion
03

Roadmap Process

No structured roadmap. Sales defines priorities. Engineering can't finish anything because everything is urgent.

Outcome: Governed roadmap & clear priorities
04

Feature Adoption

Customers aren't using what you've built. You keep shipping features, but usage is flat and churn is creeping up.

Outcome: Adoption playbook & success metrics

Not Sure If You Need This?

The biggest objection I hear is "I'm not sure this is something we're struggling with yet." That's exactly why I created the Product Confidence Assessment — a quick diagnostic that helps you see where your product function actually stands.

No email required. No sales pitch. Just clarity.
